Line-Item Estimate Difference
Castle Building & Remodeling is one of the only companies in the industry to provide customers with a comprehensive line-item estimate. The line-item estimate is the foundation of our planning system and allows our customers to see where every dollar of the total project cost comes from. Our line-item estimates are broken down by quantity into materials, labor, subcontractors, and allowances so you can see our costs and compare apples to apples. Many other contractors will provide you with one large number for the entire project.
We like to think of the line-item estimate as being similar to a menu at a restaurant. Like a menu, the estimate gives you choices that you can look over before making an informed decision. The line item estimate also gives you the power to be a part of the team. You have the ability to see the costs of each line item, so you can make a choice as to whether you would like to perform the work yourself.
