While this South Minneapolis bathroom was still a functional space, aesthetically the homeowners agreed it was time for an update. The overall square footage was increased by removing the west wall, creating a more open space for both users to get ready in the morning. A new walk-in shower was installed with a tiled bench and the original claw foot tub was reinstalled across from it, creating one single area for bathing. A custom vanity, with a double sink, was installed with Cambria Newhaven countertops and Chelsea maple cabinetry. The bathroom now has a more cohesive look and is a much more inviting space.
