The owners of this small NE Minneapolis bathroom not only wanted an update, but also challenged Castle with the need for additional storage space. The bathroom saw a major transformation and now displays crisp shades of blue-greens and white. A new petite pedestal sink, dual flush toilet, bathtub, glass hardware and sleek chrome plumbing fixtures and accessories were incorporated and beautiful 2″ marble hex tile was installed on the floor. The custom glass countertop provides a unique but still functional surface for the daily morning routine. Besides a recessed medicine chest, storage was created by utilizing part of an adjacent closet for one lower cabinet and building into the wall framing for another, thereby maximizing floor space in the small room. The owners were very pleased with the outcome as well the short construction timeline, since this is the only bathroom in their home!
