Lead Carpenter

Job Type: Full-time-Hourly $30 to $33 an hour, based on skill and experience.

We are in URGENT need an experienced Carpenter. Someone with a minimum of six years experience in all aspects of framing, millwork and overall experience in residential remodeling.

You have superb leadership skills and will keep a crew organized and proficient. You have your own tools and are at the top of your game. You will have extensive knowledge in all remodeling aspects of homes built prior to 1960, from framing to trim work. The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding the budget. The success of our company is fueled by our highly skilled and professional team.

Responsibilities
• Cabinet, trim and millwork installation and framing.
• Installation of doors, base trim, casing, crown molding and railings.
• Worksite management of materials, site cleanliness, cleanup and removal of debris.
• Interpret accurately plans and scope of work.
• Outstanding communication with co-workers and clients.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Lead Stick Framing Carpenter

Job Type: Full-time-Hourly $32 to $38 an hour, based on skill and experience. Hiring Bonus $1000 & 40 hour of PTO after 90 days

We are in URGENT need of a Lead Stick Framing Carpenter. Someone with a minimum of eight years of experience in framing residential remodeling project, as in additions, dormers, basements and attic remodels.

You have superb leadership skills and will keep a crew of 2 to 4 organized and proficient. You have your own tools and are at the top of your game. You have the ability to think ahead to be sure materials on site and be able to move the crew seamlessly through the project. You will have extensive knowledge and experience working in older homes built prior to 1960 and the ability to tie them in to the original structure. The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding the budget. The success of our company is fueled by our highly skilled and professional team.

Responsibilities
• Supervise 2 to 4 carpenters on framing additions.
• Communicate with Project Managers, Subcontractors, and field crew.
• Anticipate and think ahead 2 to 3 days to keep the crew moving toward project completion and plan the next task.
• Anticipate and plan for materials and supplies to be on the job site, looking ahead and planning accordingly.
• Interpret accurately plans and scope of work.
• Outstanding communication with co-workers and clients.
• Offer a thorough understanding with homes built prior to 1960, seamlessly tying old to new.
• Knowledgeable and experienced laying trusses and framing stairs.
• Enthusiastically supervise others and guiding them through the process.
• Keep the job on schedule despite setback and weather.

• Ability to work as a team and problem solve with project managers and field crew.

Remodeling Carpenter

Job Type: Full-time-Hourly $22 to $27 an hour, based on skill and experience.
Multiple Positions Available

A minimum of two years experience in any of the following areas: framing, millwork, demo, cabinet installation.

The ideal candidate has some experience in remodeling, vs. new construction. We work directly with homes built prior to 1960. We build additions, dormers, kitchen, baths, decks, porches and whole house remodeling. We do it all, from framing to trim work. We have a highly skilled team of carpenters and tradesmen, so you will learn from the best.

Responsibilities and Requirements

Warehouse and Delivery Assistant

Job Type: Full-time-Hourly $19 to $22 an hour, based on skill and experience. 

Castle Building & Remodeling is offering GREAT OPPORTUNITY for entry level position in the exploding housing and remodeling industry. Do you take great pride in a job well done? Do you have an attention to detail and a willingness to learn. If you are just wrapping up trade school and graduating and don’t have a full time gig lined up, this may be the perfect position for you. This position gives opportunity for advancement. Historically this employee moves into a carpenter roll within a couple of years.

*** NOTE*** This is a full time job, but typically falls short of 40 hours and has been averaging 36 hours per week. There is some flexibility in the schedule is someone is attending school in the evenings or has another part-time job.

Responsibilities Include:
• Picking up building materials and delivering them to the job site using a company vehicle.
• Being organized and punctual.
• Tear out and demo on job sites.
• On site clean up.
• Warehouse cleaning & organizing.
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Requirements:
• Must be at least 18 and have a good driving record.
• Must be able to lift, carry and move at least 40lb.
• Attention to detail is a must as these details are what set us apart from our competitors.

Remodeling Designer/Salesperson

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $77,000.00 per year plus bonuses

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION

  • Your goal is to generate between $1-1.5M in annual design build revenue that meets profitability and customer satisfaction benchmarks
  • Responsibilities include in home visits, budgetary estimate creation and presentation, writing scope of work, estimating, designing and drafting residential remodeling projects with Chief Architect software, product selections/interior design, preparing project for the handoff to production, and ordering of some materials
  • Design/sell basements, attics, kitchens, bathrooms, whole house, exteriors, porches, decks, and additions
  • Salaried full-time position with progressive benefits and potential to change to commission
  • Castle to generate high volume/quality leads for sales person
  • Flexible schedule but expected to meet with clients and employees as needed during typical work hours, and home tours (in person or virtual) 1-2 times a year

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Designer/salesperson with 5+ years remodeling experience, with an understanding of basic structural/mechanical, and familiarity with designing additions and working on older homes
  • Detailed professional with good communication skills
  • Organized, honest, creative, efficient, driven, motivated individual
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture, Sustainable Design, Interior Design or related field
  • Proficient in Chief Architect and Microsoft Word/Excel
  • Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
