Anna & Michael had a vision to transform their compact basement bathroom into a more functional space for their growing teenagers. To achieve this, we utilized the dormant area adjacent to the existing bathroom, thus, effectively expanding the space to accommodate a full-sized tub and shower. Our design approach was to maintain harmony with the overall aesthetic of the house, but simultaneously introduce modern updates. These updates featured light, bright elements, vibrant color accents, and seamlessly integrated storage solutions. As with any basement remodeling project, there are certain constraints, such as immovable mechanical or plumbing fixtures. In this particular situation, we strategically designed a linen cabinet to conceal unsightly piping, thus turning a challenge into a stylish solution.
