Our 1950 home had an unused attic and we needed more living space. Our remodeler suggested a full shed dormer and skylights. It’s transformed this space into a sunny multi-functional area with a home office, a bathroom, and a sizable family room. With beautiful new woodwork and fireplace, it’s now our listening room and library where we can relax. 

As plant enthusiasts, we wanted to ensure enough sunlight to nourish our indoor greens, so several windows and skylights were thoughtfully added to invite natural light. The new space has unique finishes and style that echo our fondness for mid-century design. The outcome is a vibrant and entertaining area we can relish for many years to come. The space is a reflection of our personality, with fun finishes and mid-century design.
