CASTLE EMPLOYEE HOME OWNERSHIP ASSISTANCE PLAN

Castle is in the business of remodeling our clients homes. We rarely work on rental property and almost always work for homeowners. At Castle we believe that homeownership is not only a smart decision in the long run but buying a home can be an immediate and monthly savings of hundreds of dollars over rent. To help our Employees own their own homes we have developed the Castle Employee Homeownership Assistance Plan. How it works: Employee works with mortgage broker to prequalify for mortgage. Employee saves for 3.5% down payment. Our Realtor sends daily emails with homes and you choose the home and neighborhood you are interested in. Castle buys the home with cash (usually out of foreclosure) and remodels to your specifications. Castle earns our normal margin for managing the remodeling project. Castle covers up to 5% of closing costs including pre-paid insurance and first payment.

Home prices are low and we are in an industry that works with housing. We all know each other and other people who know how to fix things and maintain a home. We believe employees of Castle are better suited than the average person to own a home. As of January 2013 10 of our 25 employees were homeowners. At Castle we have set a goal to improve this number and have put together a plan that we hope is beneficial for you and for Castle.

The graph below shows the current averages and a mortgage is significantly less expensive than rent these days.
