This 1948 1.5-Story Cape Cod home had a large unfinished attic which was being used for storage. Interior walls were framed and insulated to create the new rooms. Additional supply and return lines were extended and electrical rough-ins were installed to serve the new space. New Marvin windows were also installed in order to supply ample natural lighting as well as a means of egress in the event of fire. Oak hardwood floors were installed with period-style trim to finish the cozy space. Two desks were tucked away into an unused nook, creating an inviting work area for both of the home’s owners.
