The Homeowners of this historic St Paul home have worked hard to restore the home to have detailed woodwork, beautiful unlacquered brass metals, high quality fixtures, thoughtful functionality, and pops of modern showpieces. Before being put on the market last, this 2nd floor bathroom had been stripped of its already basic plumbing fixtures, leaving the current owners a large (large for a bathroom) empty room with its own closet.
Wanting to make a grand bathroom for guests and kids the owner’s came to Castle for help with the design and build. To provide thoughtful conveniences the toilet was moved into the space that had been a closet along with a pedestal sink, while also having a large sink vanity in the main space which is adjacent to a freestanding tub and a large walk-in shower. All of the walls and floors are lined with tile, drawing one’s eyes around every corner. Every surface is designed to draw people into this space and treat their guests with a luxurious experience.
