The owners of this 1931 home in the Macalester-Groveland neighborhood in Saint Paul, MN wanted to update their family bathroom. The layout of the room did not change, this allowed for the existing custom vanity & built in linen cabinet to remain. The vanity & linen cabinet were given a fresh coat of paint & a new cultured marble counter top with integral sink bowls was installed on the vanity. New 4×4 white tile was installed on the shower walls & on the lower portion of the walls around the room. A blue glass mosaic tile was added for a pop of color. The old sliding doors on the tub were replaced with a “rain” textured glass shower panel that is much easier to clean & work around. New tile was installed on the floor & the homeowners finished off the project by painting the walls a light blue color to compliment the accent tile.
