The second floor bathroom of this Mendota Heights home built in 1988 needed to be warmed up. The cool grey tones gave the space a dated & cold feeling, so that was all removed & replaced with warm, rich brown tones. The only change to the layout of the room was a poorly functioning linen cabinet was taken out & the bathtub moved back about 2 feet. A light brown porcelain tile with a stone look was installed on the shower walls, a complimentary darker brown porcelain tile was installed on the floor & three niche cubes were added that the end of the tub for additional storage. A swinging shower panel with clear glass was installed on the tub. The white vanity was replaced with a custom cherry vanity, wall cabinet & matching mirror. Cambria countertop were installed on the vanity with an undermount Kohler sink. New lighting & a soft neutral paint color finished off the bathroom remodel.
