Our repeat clients embarked on an impressive kitchen remodeling journey with Castle in 2021, effectively transforming half of their main level into a more spacious and brighter kitchen, along with a practical mudroom and a welcoming dining room. They expressed a desire to have the remaining part of their main level emulate the brightness and contemporary style of their newly renovated kitchen. To achieve this, we turned an outdated wood-burning firebox in their living room into a modern gas fireplace, featuring a custom stone surround and a reclaimed wood mantel. This not only added a touch of elegance but also complemented the overall aesthetic. We further unified the design by adding matching crown molding, installing efficient LED can lighting, and painting the millwork to mirror the kitchen’s color scheme. The result was a main floor that emanates a sense of harmony and freshness, giving the impression that it was all renovated simultaneously. During this process, we also refreshed their second-floor bathroom. We installed a new vanity, mirrors, shelves, and a toilet, reinforcing the idea that even a minimal makeover can significantly enhance both functionality and aesthetics.
