The existing home had a primary suite on the upper level. The ceilings were low, and the bathroom was disjointed, therefore lacking in functionality. These homeowners desired extra rooms on the upper level for their growing family, as well as a guest room, in hopes of transforming the main level bedroom into an office. The upper level space was demolished, and a new 2nd floor addition consisting of 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, laundry, and hall was built in its place. The primary suite has a spacious bedroom, closet, and bathroom with a separate tub and shower as well as two sinks and a heated tile floor. The Cherry wood laundry countertops and cabinet hardware blend well with the existing main floor kitchen. The exterior of the home was resided and the chimney extended. The new white Oak hardwood floors and millwork also provide great continuity with the existing main floor. Many unique light fixtures provide interest throughout. Castle was happy to create a larger space for this wonderful family.
